British Columbia Institute of Technology, established in 1960, is a comprehensive institution offering a diverse range of academic programs in a variety of areas. Programs are offered in such categories as business and technology, computing and information technology, health sciences and more. Additionally, the British Columbia Institute of Technology offers online and distance education programs adding convenience and flexibility for students.

British Columbia Institute of Technology has numerous locations throughout the province of British Columbia. The campus offering the majority of full-time programs is located in Burnaby in the Province of the British Columbia in Canada. The Burnbary Campus offers a number of state-of-the-art facilities that students can take advantage of. Among them are the Burnaby Library, which offers numerous databases, computers, more than 100,000 print book titles, electronic books, journals and many others resources accessible to students. The British Columbia Institute of Technology is also home to the Aerospace Technology Campus and the Kelowna Aerospace Technology campus where students can take advantage of aerospace related programs.

Students can also take advantage of a diverse range of both on and off campus activities at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
