Brainco: Minneapolis School of Advertising, Design and Interactive Studies, established in 1994, is a comprehensive, alternative institution offering creative programs in a variety of disciplines. Programs are offered in a diverse range of creative disciplines including art direction and design, writing, media arts and more. Concentrations offered include promotional design, graphic design, copywriting, film and video, photography and more.

Brainco is located in the scenic city of Hopkins in Minnesota not far from the city of Minneapolis. Brainco offers a library where students can gain access to numerous resources. Students at Brainco-Minneapolis School of Advertising, Design and Interactive Studies can also take advantage of a computer lab.

In addition to Brainco's creative programs, students can also take advantage of a plethora of off campus recreational, cultural, and historical attractions in the city of Minneapolis. Students can enjoy city that is burgeoning with the arts. Theatres, museums and art galleries are all accessible. Some area attractions include the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, the Weisman Art Museum, the Museum f Russian Art and more. Minneapolis also offers numerous parks, numerous festivals and fairs and much more.
