Bowling Green Community College was established in 1986 as an open admissions two-year institution. Its purpose was to expand the educational opportunities in the community and the region. This Kentucky community college is one of the five undergraduate colleges that is part of Western Kentucky University.

Bowling Green Community College offers students a choice from more than 20 different programs, certificates and two-year associate degrees through its Arts and Sciences, Business and Computer Studies, and Health Sciences Divisions.
