Bluegrass Community College has seven campuses located through the region that help students prepare for a career by completing a two-year degree or certificate program, all in a challenging, but supportive environment. Students may also choose to continue on to a four-year college or university.
This Kentucky college has campuses located in Cooper, Leestown, Regency, Lexington, Danville, Lawrenceburg, Winchester and Georgetown. Over 11,500 students last fall were enrolled in such programs as nuclear medicine, computer information technology and equine studies, in addition to 42 technical programs. Some of the more popular majors are nursing, business management and marketing, information management and design, radiography, medical information technology, electrical technology and practical nursing.
Bluegrass Community College offers small class sizes that give you personal attention, coupled with an experienced and dedicated faculty. Students taking classes at Cooper, Regency and Winchester campuses are able to take part in University of Kentucky recreational activities, as well as the university's student housing.
