Founded in 1902, Berry College is a private, coeducational, comprehensive liberal arts college that unites scholarship, spiritual growth, and service. Though not affiliated with any religious denomination, Georgia Christian college aims to provide an education rooted in Christian values. Berry College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Students at Berry College can choose from five pre-professional programs and more than 25 areas of study through four schools: the Campbell School of Business; the Charter School of Education and Human Sciences; the Evans School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences; and the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences. At the graduate level, Berry College offers a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Education, and an Education Specialist degree. Cooperative dual-degree programs are offered in engineering (with Georgia Institute of Technology) and nursing (with Emory University School of Nursing).

Berry College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, with six men's teams, seven women's teams, and a co-ed cheerleading team. Students can also participate in more than 75 organizations on campus, including student government, service learning, performing arts, peer mentoring, honor societies, and religious organizations.
