With more than 14,000 students enrolled in credit courses and more than 10,000 students enrolled in non-credit, professional development courses, Bergen Community College is helping to prepare its students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities or for immediate entry into a career.
The public, two-year New Jersey college offers degree and certificate programs in women's studies, religion, culinary arts and exercise science. At Bergen Community College, classes are small, the tuition is affordable and the faculty is dedicated to students. Here, students are able to take their courses in a traditional classroom, solely online or a hybrid of the two. Bergen Community College boasts an extensive fiber-optic and wireless network covering its library, classrooms, commons and smart classrooms, allowing students to stay connected while on campus.
Bergen Community College's campus life also is rich with student activities, clubs and organizations that enhance students experience at the New Jersey college, while also teaching them leadership skills. The New Jersey college offers such student services as a tutoring center, online writing lab, study abroad and financial aid assistance.
