Teaching the art and science of bartending since 1988, The Bartenders Academy of New York on Long Island, N.Y. has trained more than 20,000 men and women to date, and over the years has become Long Island's No. 1 rated bartending school and has been voted the most valuable bar establishment for three years in a row. With two locations--one in Suffolk County, N.Y. and the other in Nassau County--students may choose which location is most convenient.

Students enrolled in the Bartenders Academy of New York will learn everything they need to know to be successful bartenders within the food and beverage industry. The Bartenders Academy of New York offers flexibility with full- or part-time classes as well as day, evening and weekend classes for convenience. Perhaps one of the Bartenders Academy of New York's most interesting and rewarding initiatives is its guest bartending program. This program allows students to bartend before they graduate. Known as The Earn While You Learn program, it helps students gain true life experience behind a real bar. The program is not mandatory but is highly recommended for students to get a feel for the industry. Students serve real alcohol, to real customers, charge them real money and earn real tips. Most important, students gain real experience that they can take with them after graduating from the Bartenders Academy of New York.
