Barry University's School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida, offers an excellent education to students interested in becoming a podiatric doctor or surgeon. The Florida medical school has an intensive four-year program leading to the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree. Students gain the medical knowledge and clinical experience they need to pursue a top-notch residency program. The School has a 100 percent residency placement rate for graduating students.

At Barry University's School of Podiatric Medicine, students are taught in small classes by expert faculty members who hold a PhD and/or a medical degree. They gain hands-on experience through a network of hospital affiliations and Barry's community-based clinics. They also learn alongside a diverse student body in multicultural South Florida. Students can participate in community service, such as the Yucatan Crippled Children's Project, homeless and indigent medical care, and other service-learning activities.
