Art Center College of Design is a private graphic and industrial design college accredited by the Western Association of Schools and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. Founded in 1930, ACCD was the first school to prepare artists and designers for leadership roles in advertising, publishing, and industrial design.

Art Center College of Design offers undergraduate degree programs in advertising, entertainment design, environmental design, film, fine art media, graphic design, illustration, photography, product design, and transportation design. Graduate programs are available in art, broadcast cinema, industrial design, and media design. Students can also enroll in non-degree Public Programs, including a selection of night classes with open enrollment.

In addition to the main Hillside Campus, the Art Center College of Design has a South Campus with a Graduate Art Program, expanded public program, archetype press, printmaking studio, 16,000-square-foot wind tunnel exhibition, and events hall. Students can participate in more than 20 campus organizations, including academic, cultural, recreational, religious, and social clubs.
