Each year, Anoka Ramsey Community College serves over 9,000 students of all ages at its two campuses in Cambridge and Coon Rapids. Students here can pursue associate degrees that transfer as the first two years of a bachelor's degree or certificate programs that immediately lead to careers. The Minnesota college also focuses on providing professional development and continuing education programs for working adults, of which over 7,000 students take part in each year.

Career programs include nursing, business, computer networking, biomedical technology, as well as courses in glass blowing, Chinese language and American Sign Language. At this Minnesota college, students can learn either in classrooms or online through Anoka Ramsey Community College's distance learning program.

Student life programs include theater, band, choir, newspaper, Phi Theta Kappa honor society and intramural sports and clubs. The Minnesota college also offers student-center services, including tutoring and TRIO, a federally funded support program for first-generation college students.

Also, thanks to a partnership with its sister college, Zhaoging University in Zhaoging, China, students, faculty and staff are able to participate in an exchange program that helps students develop new cultural perspectives, as well as an understanding of the customs, lifestyles and traditions of China.
