Founded by the Sisters of Saint Anne in 1946, Anna Maria College is a private, coeducational, Catholic liberal arts college accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Anna Maria College offers a liberal arts and sciences education integrated with professional preparation and rooted in the traditions of the Sisters of Saint Anne.

Students at Anna Maria College can choose from more than 35 undergraduate degree programs including popular majors in business, criminal justice, education, social work, psychology, an RN-to-BSN program, and more. Anna Maria College also offers more than 20 graduate and continuing education programs, including fifth-year master's options in business administration, counseling psychology, criminal justice, education, emergency management, fire science, pastoral studies/counseling, public administration, and visual art.

Anna Maria College is an NCAA Division III school with eight men's teams and seven women's teams competing at the varsity level. Students can also participate in several academic clubs, community service, campus ministry, and student government.
