Founded by Dr. Joseph T. Angley, Ph.D and licensed in 1999, Angley College is an independent, co-educational, private college specializing in post-secondary education and training programs in technology, medical, and business. They provide professional business, aviation management, and medical training which incorporates current technological and sociological developments by monitoring both the needs of employers and employees. The school is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, approved by the State of Florida Board of Nursing, recognized by the American Registry of Medical Assistants and accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.

In addition to Associate and Bachelor's degrees, they offer short-term, specialized diploma programs in dental assisting, medical assisting, therapeutic massage, and nurse assisting. Degree programs include medical assisting, therapeutic massage, business office administration and medical office administration with Bachelor's degrees in business administration, business administration with a concentration in aviation management, or health care management. The college focuses on practical, career-driven education with a solid, basic liberal arts background.

The goal of Angley College is to provide flexible education and training in professional skills and behaviors to prepare their students for entry level careers in a variety of business and technical areas. In order to provide a wide basis for development of interpersonal and communication skills, the college encourages students to incorporate the school's general education courses into their specialized, career-focused programs. Applicants should have their high school diploma or its equivalents and pass an admission interview. Angley offers federal financial aid programs such as Pell Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Federal Work Study, Stafford Loans, and PLUS Loans.
