American Military University, an online academic university, offers more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs catered to adults in the military, public safety and national security sectors. Studies for Associate, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees work around military commitments so that students can earn degrees without worrying about deployment or losing credits. American Military University is both nationally and regionally accredited and prides itself on being affordable to both civilians and military personnel.

With specialty courses in strategic intelligence, homeland security, security management, and transportation and logistics management, AMU students work toward gaining the tools they need to obtain leadership positions in a variety of fields, including intelligence, security management, military management, government agencies and contractors while maintaining their military commitment.

As an online academic university, all courses are taught through the Internet so students can just log on and learn. After entering the online classrooms through the campus homepage, they can get assignments, take tests, write papers and exchange information with fellow students and professors; all the typical activities at a college campus except for the fact that they never have to step foot on any campus. There is even an Online Library. This easily accessible format (all you need is a computer and internet access) illustrates American Military University's commitment to providing a relevant education for military personnel who can access their education from anywhere throughout the world.
