American International Acupuncture Institute, located in Brooklyn, New York, offers a three-year, Master's-level program that teaches the theories and methods of traditional Chinese medicine and Western bioscience. Students prepare for careers as licensed acupuncturists through coursework and the institute's teaching clinic. AIAI also works to promote public awareness of acupuncture and the benefits of traditional Chinese medicine and alternative medicine. American International Acupuncture Institute holds approval from the Board of Regents and is registered with the New York State Education Department.

The school offers complete both TCM training and lessons in specialized acupuncture techniques taught by President Dr. Stanley Chang. AIAI classes are taught by licensed acupuncturists, certified herbalists, and instructors with medical degrees in related disciplines. Faculty members are selected for their academic achievements and expertise as well as their commitment to classic and contemporary methods of traditional Chinese medicine.

Courses range from Qi Gong/Tai Ji Chuan and Auricular Therapy to Chinese Language and Chinese Herbology. Students are encouraged to take internships and required to participate in clinical observations. Faculty members and students at the institute also present lectures and demonstrations at local colleges, area hospitals, community organizations in order to foster public awareness of the benefits of acupuncture as an alternative healing technique.
