The American Institute of Health Care Professionals is an organization based in Warren, Ohio that serves health care professionals by offering certification and fellowships in a variety of programs. The mission at the American Institute of Health Care Professionals is to create continuing education programs and fellowships that help health care professionals achieve a level of excellence in specialty areas.

The American Institute of Health Care Professionals offers certification through the following schools: The American College of Hypnotherapy, providing comprehensive continuing education and certification for hypnotherapy programs. The American Academy of Grief Counseling, which provides continuing education, certification and fellowships for those working in grief counseling. This may include nurses, doctors, clergy, funeral directors and social workers. The American Academy of Case Management, which provides a fellowship for professionals working in the field of case management. The American College of Legal Nurse Consulting, providing a two-tier program of education and fellowship for those practicing legal nurse consulting. Pastoral Thanatology Certification, which is offered through The American Academy of Grief Counseling. Stress Management Consulting Division, which is a certification program offered to physicians, nurses, social workers and others who deal with stress management consulting. Meditation Instructor Certification Division, which offers a certification program. Spiritual Counseling Certification Division, which offers a certification program for qualified applicants. The American Institute of Funeral Services Associates, which is a certification for qualified applicants. This program includes education and practical experience.

Additionally, the American Institute of Health Care Professionals provides approval for suggested continuing education programs. Professionals must submit an application to have the continuing education modem approved. These may include, but are not limited to: lectures, seminars, staff in-service/education programs, video learning, skills workshops, distance education, mentorships, educational retreats, self-study programs, audio learning, symposiums, university/college based courses and continuing education programs through colleges and universities.
