Altoona Beauty School, located in central Pennsylvania, was established in 1956, and prepares students for livelihoods in the cosmetology industry. ABS employs more than a half-dozen instructors, all of whom hold licenses from the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology. They also possess extensive backgrounds as teachers and salon workers. Fully aware of the necessity to keep abreast of a constantly changing industry, the instructors attend many workshops and seminars themselves throughout the year. It is this Pennsylvania beauty school's continuing endeavor to provide top quality and affordable educations.

Altoona Beauty School conducts a variety of courses. These include its electrology program (requiring a total of 126 instruction hours), cosmetology program (1,250 hours), esthetician program (450 hours), manicuring program (300 hours), and teacher program (600 hours). The Pennsylvania beauty school also offers individualized continuing education programs. In every course, the ABS team helps its students develop an energetic work ethic, a deep appreciation for professional ethics, a thorough understanding of practical and clinical processes, and the qualifications necessary to meet the standards of the State Board of Cosmetology.
