Alliant International University is for students who have finished the first two years of college and prepares students for professional careers in the applied social sciences. This California university has six campuses: Fresno, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Francisco. It also has a campus in Mexico City, as well as programs for psychologists in Tokyo.

Formed in July 2001 by the California School of Professional Psychology and United States International University, Alliant International University is comprised of three schools on its multiple campuses: the California School of Professional Psychology, the Graduate School of Education, and the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management.

To ensure that students are ready to enroll after the first two undergraduate years, Alliant International University formed articulation agreements with 30 community colleges. The agreements make sure that the courses at Alliant International University and the community colleges are compatible so students don't loose credit with courses.
