Albright College, founded in 1856, is a four-year, liberal arts, private, co-educational college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Albright is located on a 118-acre suburban campus nestled at the foot of Mount Penn in Reading, Pennsylvania, one hour from Philadelphia and the Pocono Mountain ski resorts, two hours from Baltimore, and three hours from New York City and Washington, D.C.

More than 1,600 students from 30 states and 26 countries are enrolled at Albright college. There are more than 100 full-time faculty members, and the student to faculty ratio is 13 to one. Students may choose to focus on a single field of study or combine two or three to create an individualized major. Albright awards bachelor of arts and science degrees and masters in education degrees.

New facilities include a state-of-the-art multimedia digital media lab with 14 Apple G4 workstations, three digital video workstations and digital audio/MIDI production, an optical physics lab with lasers, fiber optics and photodetection technology, a state-of-the-art language lab and teleconferencing facility, and a molecular genetics facility.
