Advocate Illinois Masonic School of Radiologic Technology was formerly Advocate Ravenswood Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology (founded in 1935), and is now sponsored by Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Advocate students are trained for careers as radiologic technologists/radiographers, who specialize in the use of X-ray radiation (energy), and perform a wide variety of radiography procedures and X-ray exams to diagnose and treat of illnesses and injuries.

The full-time, two-year program, provides a comprehensive and highly diversified education in radiation physics, radiation biology, anatomy, physiology, pathology and radiographic procedures. Advocate Illinois students partake in clinical course work including diagnostic procedures, computerized tomography (CT) and other specialized imaging fields and graduate with national and state certification eligibility.

Advocate Illinois Masonic School of Radiologic Technology keeps student-to-faculty ratios low, so that students benefit from quality personal instruction with leaders in the industry, who consistently train, review and follow-up with students about their clinical progress.
