Adrian College, founded in 1859, is a private, co-educational college of liberal arts and sciences affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The traditional four-year, residential college that focuses completely on undergraduate education is located 45 minutes from Ann Arbor and Toledo, Ohio, and 90 minutes from Detroit. The campus is comprised of 21 buildings including a 24-hour student center, a planetarium and an observatory.

There are more than 1,300 students enrolled at Adrian College. The student to faculty ratio is 13 to one, and about 88 percent of the faculty hold the highest degree in their field. Students at Adrian College can choose from over 40 majors and pre-professional programs that include pre-art therapy, pre-architecture, pre-engineering and pre-law programs.

Recent renovations on the Adrian campus include expanding the dining hall capacity by 250 more seats, the addition of a hair and nail salon in the student center, and a new wood kiln for ceramic projects.
