The Academy of Animal Arts was established in January, 1999 by Teri L. Bialek, and provides a training program based on more than 20 years of successful internal training of staff groomers.
The campus consists of approximately 2,500-square-foot, including a lobby and retail area, three spacious blow-dry and grooming rooms, a separate bathing area, a stone and gravel dog run and a separate kennel. There is also an outdoor grooming area.
After completion of training, graduates can take advantage of the school's database of grooming salons, veterinary hospitals, pet shops, kennels and dog-show handlers seeking professional groomers.
This school profile has been compiled and updated by The CollegeBound Network. The school is not affiliated with The CollegeBound Network and shall not be considered a sponsor of this program.

The Academy of Animal Arts has a 16 week course teaching everything necessary for all breed grooming, including successful salon operations, rare breeds, breeding better dogs and segments on show grooming. Students also get access to animal professionals, spending a day with the Academy's veterinarian, accountant, canine masseuse, AKC judges and veterinary technician.
At Academy of Animal Arts the education goes beyond grooming to a complete education in canines and even cats. The effective program is founded on the belief that the relationship and co-existence between humans and their pets is the foundation for the nurturing extended upon them.
