I think internships are the best thing you can possibly do in college. I took an unpaid internship in college and while my classmates took months to find a job, I was offered a job as soon as I got out from the company I interned with. However, I think it's important to make sure that you take an internship with a company that will either 1) be hiring when you graduate or 2) be able to connect you with people that are hiring. And, don't be afraid to ask your supervisors if they can help you get a job. You worked for free -- they should at least help you out a little bit. Great post!
